Comparative study of multi-class traffic flow models with application to real data

Abstract. We discuss mathematical models for multi-class traffic flows. Specifically, we analyze a fully macro model which take into account the differences between fast vehicles and slow vehicles including their different free-flow speeds and critical densities. The model is calibrated and tested on real data given by Autovie Venete.
